The Mission

Maros Designs is interior designer Jessica Maros, who is committed to helping each client navigate a unique aesthetic by understanding your way of life and capturing it through style and furniture. Founded in 2018, Maros delivers exhilarating moments through well-curated interiors for residential and commercial projects. In 2024, Jessica made Luxe Magazines NEXT IN DESIGN 99 list as well as had features in RHUE, Style Blueprint and NYTimes.

The philosophy:

  • Each person can tell their own unique story through a combination of design, light, and furniture.

  • One’s own space should be designed to inspire creativity, inclusiveness, harmony, wellness and tranquility. Spaces that reflect your goals in life.

  • Interior design isn’t just visual – it’s also psychological. We call this “spiritual living”. Less chaos and a more cohesive story will harmonize your life.

Maros Designs believes in intentional, purpose-driven design, as this is key to success. Using the Japanese Kanso approach to living with her own twist of minimalist ideas with a maximalist heart, it’s delightful watching our clients live happily in their redesigned space!

A little more about me.

Jessica Maros - Principal/Owner

A native of Vancouver, BC, Canada, and a first-generation North American born to Slovakian parents, Jessica Maros is a Musician, Singer, Songwriter, and Interior Designer who has been honing her creative crafts since the age of six. After years of performing in Canada, Jessica secured a recording contract and in 2004 relocated to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue a career in music. With her band, Escondido, founded with Tyler James, Maros set out to create a unique version of indie-desert rock, published three albums, and spent seven years on the road performing around the world, while still finding time to indulge in her passion for collecting vintage furniture and shopping for unique finds to be used when creating interesting spaces for friends’ homes, as well as her own.

In 2016, while living in Los Angeles, Jessica began collaborating with good friend and renowned Interior Designer Leanne Ford (Restored By the Fords; Rock the Block). After two years working with Ford, Jessica brought her unique design and staging skills back to Nashville’s tightly knit yet burgeoning creative community, establishing Maros Designs in 2018.

Since establishing Maros Designs, Jessica Maros has designed both residential and commercial spaces with a varied array of design styles, locations, and budgets. Working with a diverse scope of clients, her projects range from designing distinct and expressive private residences for Grammy-winning music industry clients, to creating immersive commercial spaces including a multi-location plant retailer in Nashville, Tennessee and a medical spa in Dallas, Texas.

The Maros design philosophy is based on melding Jessica’s European roots, experiences, and expertise, with her distinctive technique of creative storytelling through spatial design planning. Over time, Jessica has cultivated an individual style aesthetic for both residential and commercial audiences while striving to embrace each client's individual needs by finding innovative ways to create spaces that evoke joy and inspire creativity, inclusiveness, harmony, wellness, and tranquility. Her approach to interior design extends beyond being only visual – it is also psychological. The Maros Designs “Spiritual Living” concept focuses on enhancing each client’s lifestyle by thoughtfully harmonizing their living spaces to be less chaotic and more compelling.

Outside of growing her flourishing interior design business, Jessica is currently
working on restoring her own home in the historic Kessler Park neighborhood in Dallas, Texas.
